  1. I think if you think they count, then that’s all that matters. The challenge is personal and it is supposed to be fun. I personally wouldn’t count graphic novels or audiobooks for my own challenge because I don’t feel like graphic novels are challenging enough or long enough, and I have never tried an audio book because I don’t feel like I would retain the story just by listening to it, but other people do count these and get enjoyment from them, so who am I to tell them they are wrong? I think what counts is left up to the individual 🙂

Said very well. It is up to each person individually, but I’d still like to know how others feel about it. I may not end up counting graphic novels toward my final count. They go by really, really fast. But I won’t stop reading them!!

  2. I definitely think it’s an individual choice. I think that if it’s a book it counts no matter the format. But some people think audiobooks don’t count because they aren’t physically reading (and those people would be wrong). So personal opinion is the word I guess.
By the way I never looked close enough to that picture before! H’s face is hilarious!!! He’s angry colouring!!! ?
